Our Mission

Warrior Connection's mission is to help combat veterans and their families heal from the trauma of war. We do this by bringing combat veterans together and connecting them to golf therapy, mental health therapy, and spiritual support.

How We Help

Programs That Heal Inside and Out

Warrior Connection provides the camaraderie that veterans had while on active duty. They form meaningful connections with other veterans who understand them.

Free monthly outings, green fees, carts, meals—and the camaraderie veterans miss most.

Why Golf Works...

Golf Isn’t Just a Game—It’s a Gateway. Golf brings people together. It challenges the body, calms the mind, and opens the door to trust, support, and recovery. For veterans with PTSD, it’s more than recreation—it’s rehabilitation.

Built-In Community

Golf provides a natural space for conversations that don’t feel like therapy, but often heal like it. That kind of community is hard to find. Here, it’s built-in.

Adaptable Play

Golf welcomes everyone. Whether you're recovering from physical injuries or brand new to the game, it's a sport that meets you where you are.

Stress Relief

Golf takes place in wide open, calm environments. Being outdoors, moving the body, and focusing on the game helps quiet the mind and restore a sense of calm.

Pathway to Deeper Healing

Golf is the beginning, not the end. It opens the door to trust—trust in the group, in the process, and in oneself.

I just wanted to express my heartfelt appreciation for your and the organization's work. I can't tell you how timely this was. Without getting too in-depth, I will just say that it has been a tough couple of weeks dealing with depression and my teenage son dealing with the idea of hurting himself. Although the therapy sessions are great and doing the best they can, he and I desperately needed something we could do that was just a fun bond builder.

We got to participate in today's clinic, and although cut short due to the storm, we still got to play 9 holes. Neither one of us played golf before, yet my son told me he had not remembered a recent time he had that much fun. This was just the timely boost that we needed. This organization may have just changed our lives for the better and I am so grateful. The swag bags were awesome as well.

I don't know how many veterans do or do not stop to thank you for your efforts, but from the bottom of my heart, I want to give a huge thanks to you and the organization.
